As Mayor of Scottsboro, it is indeed a pleasure to welcome everyone to our website.  For our future visitors, I would like to extend a personal invitation to visit some of our attractions and historical areas and take the opportunity get to know some of our citizens.

     Spend a few minutes shopping at the world famous Unclaimed Baggage Center.  Stroll the
sidewalks of our Courthouse Square during the first weekend of each month for our First Monday Trade Day.  I invite you to experience the charm and ambiance of southern life.  

     We’re a proud city with a rich heritage and warm, friendly hospitality.  If you have visited before, I hope you return soon.  We think Scottsboro is absolutely “Someplace Special.”
