One of the oldest and largest trade days in the country is located in Scottsboro. Since the beginning of the 20th century, people have gathered around the Courthouse square to sell, trade and barter goods while awaiting decisions of the travelling circuit judge in latest court cases each first Monday of the month.

Throughout the years the event has grown into a weekend event before the first Monday of every month. Vendors and shoppers can find any and every thing from homemade quilts to collectors memorabilia.
